Actress Khushboo Sundar, who is also a BJP leader, has also come out in Vijay’s support amid turmoil regarding the government formation in Tamil Nadu. Recently, Sundar took to her X handle and mentioned
that Vijay should be the Chief Minister of the state. She stated that people have chosen the Jana Nayagan actor as their CM and therefore, he must lead.
“As a citizen of Tamil Nadu, when people have chosen their CM, he should lead,” she wrote and tagged Vijay’s X handle.

Kamal Haasan Requests Vijay To Form Govt
Previously, actor-turned-politician Kamal Haasan also backed Vijay and stated that if he isn’t invited to form a government in Tamil Nadu, it will be a disrespect towards the people’s mandate.
“Not inviting him to form the government would amount to disrespecting the mandate of the people of Tamil Nadu. 233 elected members are still unable to take their oaths. This is an insult to the state; it is damage to democracy. In the S.R. Bommai case, the Supreme Court has clearly stated, ‘Majority must be proven in the Legislative Assembly, not in Raj Bhavan’. What I am speaking is not party politics. This is the policy voice of an Indian citizen. The verdict of the people of Tamil Nadu must be respected (sic)”, he posted on X.
Vishal Also Comes Out In Vijay’s Support
Earlier today, Tamil actor Vishal also came in Vijay’s support amid the confusion regarding Tamil Nadu government formation. He took to his X handle and expressed disappointment with rumours of AIADMK being in talks with DMK. He mentioned that if Vijay’s TVK does not form a government in the state, it will be an ‘unimaginable’ situation.
“If it’s not #Tvk and if it’s going to be anything else but the unimaginable/shellshocking combination of DMK/AIADMK alliance to form the next government, then I as a citizen and voter foresee a disastrous and catastrophic consequential turnout amidst common public. Will not go down well with anyone,” he wrote.
What’s Happening In Tamil Nadu?
Even though Vijay’s TVK emerged as the single-largest party with 108 seats in the 234-member Tamil Nadu Assembly, it has not been able to form a government yet. Why? Because it remains 10 seats short of the majority mark of 118. Therefore, allying is necessary. Amid all this, reports of AIADMK in talks with DMK have also been making headlines. Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar has asked Vijay to show majority numbers before forming a government.
