“What I’ve learnt over time is that you need to protect your gut because it controls almost everything in your body,” Malaika shared. She emphasised that supporting gut health doesn’t require fancy supplements or complicated diets. “Very simple things that are easily available at home in your fridge or kitchen can make a big difference,” she added, underlining the power of small, consistent habits.

Inside Malaika Arora’s Go-To Morning Drink
Explaining her daily ritual, Malaika revealed that the preparation begins the night before and involves just a few common ingredients. “At night, I lightly dry roast cumin seeds, carom seeds (ajwain), and fennel seeds. Then I take one teaspoon of each and soak them in water overnight,” she said, calling the practice a non-negotiable part of her routine.
The next morning, she slightly boils the soaked water, lets it cool, and adds a dash of lemon juice before drinking it on an empty stomach.

According to Malaika, this simple homemade concoction helps maintain digestive balance and supports gut health. “It helps keep your gut healthy.
