Peddi, starring Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead roles, has been one of the most anticipated films of the year. Following multiple delays, the movie is finally all set to hit theatres on June 4,
and ahead of it, the makers have planned a grand trailer launch event for the film.
The event is supposed to take place on May 18, and this news has been announced by the makers. The trailer launch event will happen in Mumbai, and while announcing the same, the makers wrote, “MUMBAAAIIIII, Remember his name #PEDDI, he is coming.”

Directed by Buchi Babu Sana and produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru, Peddi features a stellar ensemble cast including Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyendu Sharma in pivotal roles. The film recently garnered further attention after Chiranjeevi and Sukumar visited the sets and reportedly watched portions of the film’s rushes. Impressed by what they saw, both veterans were said to be highly appreciative of the footage, adding to the growing buzz surrounding the project.
Following the massive success of Dhurandhar and Raja Shivaji, Jio Studios will handle the North India distribution of Peddi.
Peddi’s Postponement
The movie, which was scheduled to hit theatres on March 27, was shifted by a month, and the new release date was announced as April 30. While that also seemed difficult, the makers later confirmed that theRam Charan and Janhvi Kapoor starrer is now scheduled for a worldwide release on June 4, 2026.
Reason Behind Peddi Delay
Revealing why the film needed to be postponed, the makers shared, “The talkie part of the film is complete, and we only have one song left to be shot. We’ve seen the edit of the film and we’re extremely happy.”
Furthermore, they explained, “We feel it’s important to give our technicians and post-production team a little more time to bring out their best with absolute perfection.”
Avinash Kolla Says Peddi Will Leave Audiences Emotional
Ahead of the film’s release, Avinash Kolla shared that Peddi is not just a big-scale entertainer but also a deeply emotional cinematic experience. He suggested that audiences will feel strongly connected to the protagonist’s journey.
He said, “#PEDDI is a one-of-its-kind film. When you walk out of the theatre, your eyes will definitely be filled with tears. You will be so deeply connected to Peddi’s journey that you’ll travel along with it emotionally. That feeling is guaranteed. Sukumar garu recently said that Charan’s performance in this film will be even better than Rangasthalam. The reason is the strong and powerful story.”
