The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced a two-day window for candidates to correct or modify details in their online application forms for the Direct Recruitment Quota Examination
2026 (DRQ2026). According to the official notice, the correction facility will remain open on December 29 (Monday) and December 30 (Tuesday), 2025, until 11:59 pm.
The DRQ2026 is a nationwide competitive examination aimed at recruiting personnel for various Group A, B, and C posts within CBSE. There are 124 vacancies across several positions including Assistant Secretary, Assistant Professor and Assistant Director in different domains, Accounts Officer, Superintendent, Junior Translation Officer, Junior Accountant, and Junior Assistant.
Only candidates who have successfully submitted their application forms along with the required fees will be allowed to make corrections. The edit window is a one-time opportunity for applicants to fix errors before the final submission. The CBSE notice stated that no further changes in the application form will be entertained after the correction period.

Fields allowed for correction include:
– Candidate’s name (minor corrections only)
– Spelling changes in Father’s/Mother’s name
– Gender
– Nationality
– Educational qualification details
– Photograph and signature uploads (in case of unclear or incorrect images)
– Option to apply for multiple posts and corresponding fee adjustments
Fields NOT allowed for correction include:
– Registered mobile number
– Registered email ID
– Examination centre preference
– Application number
– Date of birth
– Category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD)
– Identity proof details (Aadhaar/Passport/Voter ID, if wrongly entered)
– Correspondence/permanent address

Step 2 – Log in with your credentials
Step 3 – Navigate to the submitted application and make permitted corrections
Step 4 – Pay the required fees and submit the form
Step 5 – Download and save the acknowledgement page for further use
The Direct Recruitment Quota Examination selection stage includes Tier-I, Tier-II, and interview or skill test phases.
