The much-awaited silent survival drama Gandhi Talks has finally released. It has received a lot of love from fans, as the response so far has been largely positive. Fans who caught early screenings of the film
have taken to social media to praise its unique storytelling approach and, most importantly, the powerful performances delivered by Vijay Sethupathi, Arvind Swami, and the rest of the ensemble cast.
Fans have lauded the film despite the absence of spoken words, calling it a refreshing and courageous experiment in Indian cinema. The film is written and directed by Marathi filmmaker Kishor Pandurang Belekar, with AR Rahman scoring the music. In addition, the technical crew includes camera cranked by Kran B. Rawat and edits handles by Ashish Mhatre.

About the film
The film is set in Bombay with primary characters being a suave businessman, a caring son, a pickpocket, and a girl in love. The characters are shown to go through pain and rejections, as it piques curiosity on what the conflict is.
The film is about Mohan Bosman who is highly successful businessman. However, after the loss of his family, and enduring financial losses, he takes up a drastic step, only for it to be thwarted by a thief and unemployed lover. The makers have not officially announced the OTT platform of Gandhi Talks. However, it is expected to stream on ZEE5.
Meerra Chopra On Gandhi Talks
Explaining the idea behind both the film and her production house, Meerra Chopraa said, “PinkMoon Meta Studios was born from my belief that true power lies in stillness and grace. Silence is not emptiness—it is awareness. ‘Gandhi Talk’ reflects this philosophy. It is a film that speaks softly, yet stays with you long after.” She added that music plays an important part in forming that experience. A. R. Rahman composed the score for the picture, using sound to give emotional voice to silence and raise the film’s meditative tone.
Gandhi Talks follows the story of Mahadev, an unemployed graduate whose desperate search for a break leads him into a world of moral compromises. The project is co-produced by Umesh Kumar Bansal, Meerra Chopraa, Rajesh Kejriwal, Kishor Belekar, and Anil Bhandari.
