The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has released the date sheet for the upcoming Class 10 and 12 practical examinations. Students gearing up for the September/October 2025 session exams can
now access the complete schedule on the official NIOS website, sdmis.nios.ac.in.
The practical examinations, covering both Secondary and Senior Secondary courses, are set to commence from September 12, 2025. These exams will be held at designated Accredited Institutes (AIs) and examination centers across India and overseas.

The practical exams will primarily take place at the student’s respective study centre unless otherwise notified by their regional centre. Students are required to contact their exam centre superintendent to confirm their specific exam date and batch assignment. The batch size will be determined based on the laboratory capacity and finalised by the superintendent or AI coordinator.
They will have to download their hall tickets from sdmis.nios.ac.in. To streamline the result compilation process, exam centres are required to upload students’ practical marks online through the official NIOS portal.
