In just a few days from now, Bigg Boss will return with its season 19. While everyone is excited to know who all will be locked inside Salman Khan’s controversial reality show this year, CNN-News18 Showsha
has now learnt that rapper Raftaar might also join the list of confirmed contestants.
A source close to the show has exclusively told us that Raftaar has been approached by the makers for Bigg Boss 19. Currently, talks are underway and if everything goes well, Raftaar will also be seen in the reality show. “Yes, it is true. Rapper Raftaar was approached for the show. He looks interested but has not finalised his participation as of now. If he agrees to sign the contract, he will be seen in Bigg Boss 19,” the insider told us.
Who Else Might Participate In Bigg Boss 19?
Every year, fans remain glued to their screens on the Bigg Boss premiere date for the final list of contestants. The speculations, however, begin much earlier. Previously, reports claimed that around 45 celebrities have been approached so far. According to the fan page Bigg Boss Taza Khabar, several television personalities and digital influencers are in talks for the season. Some of the names include Rati Pandey (Miley Jab Hum Tum), Hunar Hali, Apoorva Mukhija (aka The Rebel Kid), Mr Faisu, Dhanashree Verma, Sreeram Chandra, Meera Deosthale, and Bhavika Sharma.
Reportedly, former Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actors, Shailesh Lodha, Gurucharan Singh and Jennifer Mistry have also been approached for Bigg Boss 19.
There was also chatter about a UAE-based robot named Habubu joining the show. However, a source informed The Indian Express that the robot may no longer be a part of the final lineup.
Bigg Boss Season 19 marks a fresh chapter for the legacy reality series that continues to redefine Indian non-fiction television. With each installment turning up the heat, Bigg Boss remains a cultural juggernaut with devoted fans spanning every generation and screen.
Bigg Boss 19 is slated to premiere on JioHotstar and Colors TV on August 24, 2025.
