Before leaving for New Delhi, actor Arshad Warsi shared a lighthearted and humorous moment with the paparazzi, where he playfully took a dig at the national capital’s deteriorating air quality. In a video
shared on Instagram, the Jolly LLB actor was seen arriving at the Mumbai airport in a relaxed yet stylish look. He sported a grey hoodie paired with black trousers and matching shoes.
After getting out of his car, Arshad was seen warmly greeting a man holding a bag and thanking him before heading towards the airport’s departure gate. As he proceeded inside, he then had a brief chat with the photographers. The 57-year-old star informed that he was heading to Delhi. He jokingly said, “Jaa raha hoon Delhi ka carbon dioxide lene ke liye (I am going to Delhi to inhale the carbon dioxide there).” His remark left the shutterbugs in stitches.
Arshad Warsi Engages In Fun Banter With Paparazzi
Amid the lighthearted moment, a paparazzo, out of concern, advised Arshad to wear a mask whenever he ventured out in Delhi, given the city’s deteriorating air quality. The actor, quick with his wit, responded with another tongue-in-cheek comment, saying, “Haan maloom hai, helmet bhi pehen ke jana chahiye (I know, people should even wear helmets).” Following his brief chat and photo session, the Dhamaal actor proceeded inside the airport to catch his flight to Delhi.

Arshad’s sharp jab came amid the rising air pollution in the Delhi-NCR region. People across the national capital and its neighbouring areas have been waking up to dense smog, reduced visibility, and hazardous air quality levels, as pollution continues to blanket the region. Since the onset of winter, the Air Quality Index (AQI) has deteriorated sharply and does not appear to be improving anytime soon.
