The arena is set, the fighters are ready, and the stakes couldn’t be higher. The much-awaited trailer of Street Fighter has finally dropped, bringing with it a spectacle that blends global star power with a strong
Indian connection.
Backed by Paramount Pictures in collaboration with Legendary Entertainment and Capcom, the film promises to reimagine the iconic arcade franchise on a grand cinematic scale. Leading the cast are Noah Centineo, Jason Momoa and Andrew Koji. Adding a major draw for Indian audiences, action star Vidyut Jammwal steps into the role of Dhalsim, the legendary yoga master from the game series.
A High-Stakes Tournament With A Dark Twist
Set in 1993, the film follows estranged fighters Ryu (Andrew Koji) and Ken Masters (Noah Centineo), who are pulled back into combat when Chun-Li (Callina Liang) recruits them for the next World Warrior Tournament. What begins as a brutal test of skill soon unravels into something far more sinister.
As the trailer hints, a deeper conspiracy lurks beneath the surface, forcing the fighters to confront not just each other, but their own pasts. With fate hanging in the balance, the stakes are simple—fight or face total annihilation.
