Saiyaara is enjoying an amazing run at the box office, and now it looks like, while the movie is still making numbers, the makers have locked a date for the movie’s OTT premiere. Reportedly, the Ahaan
Panday and Aneet Padda starrer will drop on Netflix this September. While there has been no official update on the same, YRF’s casting director Shanoo Sharma has shared a story on her social media which claims that the movie is indeed releasing in September.
A report in OTTFLIX revealed that Saiyaara will stream on Netflix on September 12, 2025, and Shanoo Sharma reshared this on her social media, hinting that the movie will indeed hit the platform next month.
Ahaan Panday’s performance in the film was praised by many and made him an overnight star. Shanoo Sharma, who cast Ahaan in the lead role, revealed that the actor trained with Munjya fame Sharvari for three years. “The first three years went into training. We trained, and we trained, and Sharvari was also on that bandwagon. So we got Sharvari and him to do improvisation and scenes, and scenes, and scenes. I was training them personally. After that, COVID hit. So when he had his whole waiting period, he joined The Railway Men as an AD,” Shanoo shared while talking to The Hollywood Reporter.
About Saiyaara’s success
Despite new film releases such as Ajay Devgn’s Son of Sardaar 2 and Triptii Dimri–Siddhant Chaturvedi’s Dhadak 2, Saiyaara is holding strong at the box office. The movie also marks the first collaboration between filmmaker Mohit Suri and the legendary production company Yash Raj Films.
Recently, the makers hosted a grand success party, and Ahaan Panday’s mother shared a series of pictures with a heartfelt post.
