India’s ODI captain Rohit Sharma took to Instagram on Thursday, September 11, to share a video post in which he can be seen batting in the nets. In the clip, which is now going viral on the internet, Rohit said,
“It feels really good,” and he is here again.
Rohit, who has been training for quite some time with former India assistant coach Abhishek Nayar, last played for Men in Blue in March 2023.

His latest post came ahead of Indian team selection for the upcoming three-match series against Australia. Team India is scheduled to travel to Australia next month to take part in a three-match ODI and five-match T20I series.
Since Rohit retired from T20Is last year, he is only in contention to be picked for the 50-over matches.
The first ODI between India and Australia is scheduled to take place at Optus Stadium in Perth on October 19 and the next two matches will be played on October 23 and 25 in Adelaide and Sydney respectively.

The India A team is scheduled to play three unofficial ODIs against Australia A at Green Park Stadium in Kanpur on September 30, October 3 and October 5.
