A 24-year-old man, identified as Arun, entered the house of actor-turned-politician Vijay on Friday, raising security concerns. Arun, who is from Maduranthakam, entered Vijay’s home from the back door
in Chennai.
The man was quickly caught by the security guards on duty and was handed over to the Neelankarai police. The intruder managed to enter the residence, located in the Casino Drive area of Neelankarai, despite the ‘Y’ security.
Following the incident, the Kollywood actor urged the police commissioner to probe the matter.
The incident comes only a few days after miscreants opened fire outside Bollywood actor Disha Patani’s Bareilly residence. While two of the shooters were earlier killed in an encounter, the police on Friday arrested two more accused in the case. The accused belong to Rohit Godara and Goldy Brar gang.
