Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday launched a scathing attack at Congress over its statements on the ongoing West Asia conflict, accusing the party of putting Indian lives at risk, particularly those
from Kerala working in the region.
Addressing a rally in Keralam’s Thiruvalla, he warned that comments made by opposition leaders could have serious consequences for Indians living in conflict-hit areas. He also said that Congress has “betrayed” the trust of people from Keralam working in Gulf nations, adding that the crisis has exposed the mindset of Congress and its allies.
“Lakhs of Keralam residents work in the region, yet irresponsible statements by Congress leaders risk their safety. I urge Congress leaders to refrain from making remarks that could endanger Indians living in West Asia.”
