Inter Miami coasted to a 3-1 win over LA Galaxy on Sunday in the MLS encounter between the sides at the Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale as Lionel Messi marked his return to action, following a brief period
on the sidelines due to a muscle injury.
Messi netted once and set one up for Luis Suarez to help his side to the crucial win, while the other goal came from Jordi Alba as the former Barcelona trio shattered LA’s hopes.
Messi’s assist to Suarez was a thing of beauty as the Argentine genius picked out Suarez’s run with a backheel pass into the path of the charging Uruguayan, who made no mistake from close range.

Inter Miami head coach Javier Mascherano opted to bring on Messi to help his side and the Argentine World Cup-winer duly obliged by coming on and changing the complexion of the game with his impact on the field.

Messi, who missed his side’s previous three outings after picking up an injury during the team’s Leagues Cup game against Mexican outfit Necaxa, was brought on as a substitute by head coach Javier Mascherano and went on to make the difference between the sides on the day, as he most often does.
