Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai Producer Reacts To Clash With Peddi
Varun Dhawan-starrer Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, featuring Mrunal Thakur and Pooja Hegde, is all set to hit theatres on June 5. This comes just a day after Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor’s Peddi, which is slated to release on June 4. Varun Dhawan’s film has changed its release date multiple times, and now, with this new clash, will the movie shift its release date yet again? Producer Ramesh Taurani has reacted to it. Speaking to Hindustan Times, Ramesh Taurani shared that nothing can be done now, as one or the other film will clash. He said, “Ab kya kar sakte hain, kuchh nahi. Koi na koi toh aayega hi. There are 52 weeks in a year; someone will clash. It’s okay.” Reacting to whether he plans to shift the Varun Dhawan starrer’s release date, he firmly stated, “Not at all.”
About Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai release date changes
Initially scheduled to hit theatres on June 5, the film’s release date went through multiple changes. It was first pushed to June 12 after Yash announced Toxic for a June 4 release to avoid a clash with Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2. Later, the makers surprised fans by preponing the release to May 22, weeks ahead of its original date.
However, on April 29, Varun Dhawan dropped a new poster confirming that Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai will now release on June 5 after all. The reshuffle came after Yash shared a detailed note on social media announcing that Toxic would no longer arrive on June 4, prompting the team behind the Varun Dhawan starrer to revert to its initial release plan.
