Chris Hemsworth has opened up about what’s next for the Extraction film series. The actor hinted that his character, Tyler Rake, isn’t finished yet and that plans for another movie are underway. Hemsworth shared
that the team behind the film is actively exploring ideas to continue the action-packed saga.

“We, the creative team, are putting together some different ideas and creative ventures of where we could take the whole place and the [third] film. But the intention is to certainly make another one. I don’t know exactly when, but yeah, it’ll be coming,” the 42-year-old actor added.
The Journey of Tyler Rake So Far

Directed by Sam Hargrave, who was formerly a stunt double for Captain America, the movie gained praise for its intense action sequences and gripping storyline.
Extraction 2 followed in 2023 which raised the stakes with bigger and more complex fight scenes. One of the highlights was a long, single-take fight in a Russian prison courtyard.
What We Know About Extraction 3
