Vir Das is set to perform at New York’s Radio City Music Hall on January 30, 2027, as part of his ongoing international comedy tour, ‘I Say We Run’. The announcement adds another major international venue
to the comedian’s touring schedule.
Vir Das Announces ‘I Say We Run’ Show At New York’s Radio City Music Hall
The ‘I Say We Run’ tour began with a show at London’s Royal Albert Hall. Vir Das is also scheduled to perform at Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena next month before taking the tour to New York in January 2027.
Radio City Music Hall, located in Manhattan, has hosted performances by several prominent artists over the years and is one of New York’s best-known entertainment venues.
The upcoming performance will see the International Emmy-winning Indian comedian bring his stand-up set to the venue as part of the tour’s continuing international run. The performance will mark one of the largest and most iconic venues he has headlined to date.
Vir Das On Performing At Radio City Music Hall
Speaking about the New York show, Das said the venue was one he had grown up hearing and seeing, making the opportunity to perform there particularly meaningful.
“Radio City Music Hall is one of those venues you grow up seeing and hearing about. To be able to walk onto that stage and perform my own comedy there is a pretty surreal feeling,” he said.
He added that while he has performed at several venues around the world, each new venue brings its own sense of occasion.
“I can’t wait to bring this tour to New York and experience Radio City with the audience,” Das said.
Vir Das has consistently taken Indian comedy to some of the world’s most prestigious stages. From the Sydney Opera House and Esplanade in Singapore to Carnegie Hall in New York, he has built a global audience through his distinctive brand of stand-up.
With the Radio City Music Hall performance scheduled for January 30, 2027, ‘I Say We Run’ will continue its international run across multiple cities and venues.
Meanwhile, on the film front, Vir Das was last seen in Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos, which marked his directorial debut. Backed by Aamir Khan Productions, the film starred Mithila Palkar and Mona Singh in key roles, with Imran Khan and Aamir Khan making special appearances.
