Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma has sparked speculation about a possible third pregnancy after she was recently spotted with cricketer husband Virat Kohli in Mumbai. After videos of the couple’s outing
surfaced on social media, several users started to wonder whether the actress is expecting another child. However, neither Anushka nor Virat has confirmed the pregnancy rumours.
Is Anushka Sharma Pregnant?
It all started after Anushka and Virat were spotted attending American devotional singer Krishna Das’ live kirtan at the Dome, SVP Stadium, in Mumbai’s Worli area on Sunday, October 25. The couple was also seen at the Gateway of India before heading to the spiritual music event.
Videos circulating on social media show Anushka clapping and singing along to the devotional chants, with Virat seated beside her. Their appearance quickly caught the attention of fans, with speculation about the actress’s pregnancy emerging online.
Reacting to one of the videos, one of the users asked, “Anushka is pregnant again?” Another wrote, “Is it only me who thinks that Anushka Sharma is pregnant?” Meanwhile, a user joked, “Anushka ko bhi Twitter se hi pata chalta hoga ki voh pregnant hai.”
However, it should also be noted that despite the online chatter, there has been no official confirmation from the couple regarding the possibility of a third child.
Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli tied the knot in December 2017. The couple welcomed their daughter, Vamika, in January 2021, followed by their son, Akaay, in February 2024.
Anushka has largely stayed away from the big screen since Zero, which released in 2018. However, she did complete work on Chakda Xpress, in which she plays former Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami.
In February this year, the film’s director Prosit Roy expressed his heartbreak stating that the system didn’t give Chakda Xpress the chance it deserved. “Till today, the handful who saw the film during post keep telling me how much it stayed with them. That’s the real tragedy- it never got to reach everyone it was made for. We gave this film everything we had. Sadly, the system didn’t give it the chance it deserved,” he wrote on social media.
The shoot of Chakda Xpress was wrapped up in 2022. However, a release date hasn’t been announced yet.
