Anupam Kher, though never affiliated with any political party, has often lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his contributions to the nation. On the occasion of PM Modi’s 75th birthday, Kher joined
countless others worldwide in extending his wishes. In a video shared on social media, the actor praised PM Modi’s dedication and energy. He commended him for inspiring the younger generation through his nationalism and his readiness to address critical issues.
He also recalled meeting the PM Modi when he was the Chief Minister of Gujarat. Anupam Kher noted that he was impressed by his work ethic and dedication to the nation. Kher further praised PM Modi’s strong leadership and extended his wishes for good health. He expressed hope that PM Modi continues to guide India towards progress and success.

On Instagram, Anupam Kher said, “I have known you for many years, dating back to when you were the Chief Minister of Gujarat, and I had come to meet you in your office. You welcomed me warmly. Later, when I arranged a special screening of my film A Wednesday in Ahmedabad, I invited you, and you attended it along with all the ministers and other guests. I found your personality to be unique and genuine. In my line of work, I take pride in being able to understand emotions, and your presence left a lasting impression on me.”
“You have been leading the country for the past 11–12 years and have elevated it to new heights. You have become a role model for the youth, middle-aged and elderly. The way you take care of yourself is truly inspiring and gives us strength. I have never seen you appear tired. Watching the Prime Minister of our country walk, whether in India or abroad, is truly a remarkable sight,” the actor added.
According to Anupam Kher, “You have earned us respect in foreign countries and given Indians countless reasons to be proud of our nation. You uplift everyone’s morale. You are a true leader and politician. I am not writing these words; I am simply expressing what comes to my mind. We are fortunate to have a Prime Minister like you. Seeing you makes us feel proud and lucky. On your birthday, I pray to God that you continue to lead our country for many years, guiding us and bringing us success.”
Anupam Kher concluded the video by noting that he has met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on several occasions and has always appreciated his sense of humour and cheerful nature. The actor wished the Prime Minister a very happy and healthy 75th birthday.
