The renovation is expected to keep him away from Mannat’s familiar balcony this birthday, but photographs of the property have sparked a different theory altogether. Fans have noticed what appears to be a giant screen covering part of the façade, leading to speculation that the residence could be used for a King projection on November 2.

Will King Take Over Mannat On Shah Rukh Khan’s Birthday?
Mannat has traditionally become a gathering point for thousands of Shah Rukh fans on his birthday, with the actor stepping onto the balcony to greet the crowd outside.
That tradition is unlikely to play out in its usual form this year because of the ongoing work at the residence. However, reports claiming that King could be projected on the building have kept attention fixed on Bandstand.
The apparent transformation of Mannat’s façade into a giant display has only added to the curiosity. There has been no official confirmation yet that a teaser, song or any other footage from King will actually be screened there.
Director Siddharth Anand’s recent cryptic activity on X has further added to the anticipation, though the makers have yet to announce their birthday plans officially.
King’s First Song Could Arrive On November 2
A separate report by Variety India suggests that the first song from King is expected to be unveiled around Shah Rukh’s birthday.
Arijit Singh has reportedly sung the lead track, which could also give audiences their first proper glimpse of the film. The trailer is expected to follow at a later stage.
If the report proves accurate, the song would become the first major promotional material from King, a project that has remained under intense attention since its announcement.
The film also brings Shah Rukh back to the big screen after Dunki and reunites him with Siddharth Anand after Pathaan.
Shah Rukh Khan And Suhana Khan To Share Screen In King
King carries a sizeable ensemble alongside Shah Rukh. The cast includes Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Rani Mukerji and Raghav Juyal.
It will also mark Shah Rukh and Suhana’s first film together. Suhana made her acting debut with The Archies in 2023.
