The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has revised the schedule for the RO and ARO Main Examination 2025. Candidates appearing for the Samiksha Adhikari and Sahayak Samiksha Adhikari mains
exam can check the updated dates on the official website, uppsc.up.nic.in.
As per the revised notification, the UPPSC RO, ARO Main Examination will now be held on February 2 and 3, 2026. On the first day, February 2, the General Studies paper will be conducted in the morning session from 9.30 am to 11.30 am.
In the afternoon, Section-1 (Traditional) (Subjective) paper covering General Hindi and Drawing will be held from 2 pm to 4.30 pm. This will be followed by Section-2 (Objective), which includes General Vocabulary and Grammar, from 4.30 pm to 5 pm.
On February 3, the Hindi essay paper will be held from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm.
How To Download Revised Exam Schedule?
Candidates can download the revised exam schedule by visiting the UPPSC website and clicking on the notice related to the RO, ARO Main Exam 2025 available on the homepage. The revised dates are mentioned in a PDF file, which candidates are advised to download and keep for reference.

Earlier, the mains examination was scheduled to be held on January 31 and February 1, 2026, but the commission has now changed the dates.
UPPSC had declared the results of the RO/ARO Preliminary Examination 2023 on September 16, 2025. A total of 7,509 candidates were shortlisted for the mains examination. Of these, 6,093 candidates were selected for 338 posts of Review Officer, 1,386 candidates for 79 posts of Assistant Review Officer, and 30 candidates for two posts of Assistant Review Officer (Accounts).

The recruitment drive had seen large participation, with 10,76,004 candidates applying for the examination. Out of them, 4,54,589 candidates appeared for the preliminary exam, which was held on July 27, 2024.
