Akshay Kumar, who made waves in 2025 with his solid performance in Kesari Chapter 2, is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film, Bhooth Bangla. He has teamed up with Priyadarshan after almost 14
years, and hence the excitement around the film is sky-high. With the OG gang returning on the big screen, the audience is eagerly waiting to watch the horror-comedy. While the people are waiting for the trailer to release, a fresh report has now revealed the runtime of the film. It is being said that the runtime of Bhooth Bangla is 2 hours and 50 minutes.
Bhooth Bangla’s runtime details revealed
According to Bollywood Hungama, the film has a runtime of approximately 170 minutes, making it Akshay’s longest release in recent years. His last film to have a similarly extended duration was the 2014 release Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty. It has a runtime of approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes. A source told the portal, “Bhooth Bangla is around 2 hours and 50 minutes long. After the censor process, the run time may reduce or increase by a few minutes. The exact duration will be known closer to the release date, but as of now, it is said to be around 170 minutes.”

Meanwhile, the teaser and songs of the film were released recently, and they have managed to create hype around it. Fans are now awaiting the release of the trailer. It was reportedly slated to release on March 30; however, the makers are yet to share it.
Bhooth Bangla is all set to hit theatres on April 10. However, there has been confusion regarding the release date. It was rumoured that the makers might opt to push the film by a week. Earlier, a source told News18 Showsha, “Fans of Akshay are urging the superstar to consider pushing the film’s release from April 10 to April 17, expressing their desire for the film to enjoy a longer theatrical run. Known for always valuing audience sentiments, we’ll have to now see if Akshay will take this fan demand into account.” While there’s no official confirmation yet, the chatter also reflects the growing pre-release buzz around the film.
The Priyadarshan directorial also stars Tabu, Paresh Rawal, Wamiqa Gabbi, Asrani and Rajpal Yadav in key roles.
