Actress Aneet Padda became an overnight sensation after the release of Mohit Suri’s film Saiyaara, in which she starred opposite debutant Ahaan Panday. The actress’ popularity skyrocketed instantly, and her
fan following grew exponentially after the release of the film. Aneet has won hearts with her effortless charm, and while many admire her, it turns out she has her own celebrity crush, and it’s none other than Marty Supreme star Timothee Chalamet! The actress had publicly expressed her admiration for the Hollywood star in an old social media post that has now resurfaced online.
Aneet Padda’s Old Comment On Timothee Chalamet’s Post
Fans recently dug out an old comment left by Saiyaara actress Aneet Padda on a 2019 Instagram post shared by Hollywood star Timothée Chalamet. This was a few years before she made her acting debut. The Dune star shared a monochromatic candid photo on Instagram in 2019, in which he was seen covering his face with both hands. Aneet commented on the photo back then, and cheekily asked the actor to confess his love. She wrote, “Just frickin confess your love to me already. Saiyaara marked Aneet’s big-screen debut as the YRF heroine. The film, which also starred Ahaan Panday in the lead, made history with its box-office success, emerging as the biggest launchpad for any newcomer since Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai, which released 25 years ago.
Meanwhile, last year, Aneet was confirmed as the lead of ‘Shakti Shalini’, the next big chapter in the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe (MHCU). Her character was officially introduced in the post-credits scene of Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Thamma, which was released in theatres on 21st October 2025. Her character was described as “the creator, the destroyer, and the mother of all,” in the teaser. Shakti Shalini is officially announced for release on December 24, 2026. After completing her college final-year exams in January, Aneet will soon kick off shooting for Shakti Shalini.
Before the success of Saiyaara, Aneet shot for Nitya Mehra’s courtroom drama titled ‘Nyay’, which is also expected to release soon.
