As the war with Iran continues, the White House has said a proposal for 45-day ceasefire has been drafted but President Donald Trump is yet to approve it.
“This is one of many ideas, and POTUS (Trump) has

According to CNN, the plan was sent to Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and US special envoy Steve Witkoff late on Sunday and is viewed as a last-ditch effort to stave off the massive strikes on Iranian power plants and other infrastructure that Trump has threatened if the Strait of Hormuz remains blocked.
Pakistan, Egypt and Turkey have been acting as mediators between Iran and the US but indirect talks were stalled last week.

Trump has publicly declared the specific day and time when American forces could strike Iran’s critical civilian infrastructure if Tehran does not reopen the strategic Strait of Hormuz for global shipping.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump issued an expletive-filled warning directed at Iran’s leadership, stating, “Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran. There will be nothing like it!!! Open the Fu***n’ Strait, you crazy b*****ds, or you’ll be living in Hell – JUST WATCH! Praise be to Allah.”
He followed up with a precise deadline, writing: “Tuesday, 8:00 P.M. Eastern Time!”
Recently, Iran termed the negotiations as a “very negative experience” involving a recurring cycle of war, ceasefire, negotiations and renewed conflict.
