DSSSB PRT Vacancy: The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has officially issued the DSSSB Teacher Recruitment Notification for 2025. The recruitment drives aims to fill 1180 Assistant Teacher posts
in the organisation. Eligible candidates can apply online starting September 17, 2025 to October 16, 2025 through the official website at dsssb.delhi.gov.in.
The notification provides detailed information about the exam date, total number of posts, educational qualifications, age limit, application process, and exam pattern. Candidates should carefully read the notification before applying.
The application fee is Rs 100. “Women candidates and candidates belonging to Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe, PwBD. & Exserviceman category are exempted from paying Application fee,” states the official notice.
DSSSB PRT Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications:
– Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) from a recognised board; or
– Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 45% marks and a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) as per NCTE Regulations 2002; or
– Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.); or
– Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a two-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) from a recognised board; or
– Graduation and a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) from a recognised board, or
They must have passed the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by CBSE. Furthermore, one of the subjects (Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, or English) must be passed at the secondary level. Reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC/PH) receive up to 5% relaxation in academic marks. DSSSB/concerned authority may permit relaxation in qualifications, provided the reasons are documented and the candidate is otherwise fully eligible.
DSSSB PRT Recruitment 2025: Age Limit
The maximum age limit for primary teacher posts is 30 years. Reserved category candidates will receive age limit relaxation as per the rules. Contract/Guest Teachers (Directorate of Education) who have not previously availed age relaxation will receive a one-time relaxation in upper age.
DSSSB PRT Recruitment 2025: Salary
The pay scale for candidates selected for the teacher posts is between Rs 35,400 to Rs 1,12,400.
