Jaideep Ahlawat revealed that Manoj Bajpayee appreciated his performance in the series and shared how deeply it impacted him. He made this revelation during a conversation with Manoj Bajpayee, Priyamani, Nimrat Kaur, and content creators Ravi Gupta and Kusha Kapila as part of The Family Man promotional interview.
Jaideep described how his life changed after Paatal Lok, not just because he became a household name, but also because of a phone call that he received. He said, “When Season 1 released, I got a phone call from Manoj Bajpayee. He spoke to me for 20 minutes. I will never forget that. After the call, I cried a lot,’ he said.”

Kusha, curious as to what had brought Jaideep to tears, turned to Manoj and asked what he had said during the call. Manoj answered, “I told him, “Please open a film institute. I want to become your student.”
