The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the CSIR-UGC NET June 2025 exam in July. Candidates are now eagerly awaiting the results, which are expected to be announced soon. Once released, candidates
can check their marksheet and scorecard by visiting csirnet.nta.ac.in.
Steps To Check CSIR-UGC NET 2025 Result:
Step 1. Visit the official website of CSIR-UGC NET at csirnet.nta.ac.in.
Step 2. Click on the ‘CSIR UGC NET 2025 Result’ or ‘Scorecard’ link on the home page.
Step 3. Enter your login details (application number and password/date of birth).
Step 4. Your result will appear on the screen. View, download, and keep it safe.
On August 3, 2025, NTA released the Provisional Answer Key. Candidates were allowed to object to the answer key, with a non-refundable fee for each question. A committee of subject experts is reviewing all objections. If an objection is valid, the answer key will be corrected, and the final answer key will be prepared. This final answer key will determine the result. Candidates will not be individually informed about the status of their objections (accepted/rejected).
“The result of NET will be declared in percentile along with the marks/normalised marks (in case of multiple shifts) obtained by a candidate to utilise the marks for admission to Ph.D. In case the test for a subject(s) is conducted in two or multiple shifts, the marks will be normalized by using the Equi-percentile method, and the result will be declared in percentile along with normalised marks,” reads the official notice.
The CSIR UGC NET 2025 exam was held on July 28 as a Computer Based Test (CBT) for approximately 1,95,241 candidates nationwide.
The stipend of a JRF will be Rs 37,000 per month for the first two years. In addition, annual contingent grant of Rs 20,000 will be reimbursed directly to the fellow.
