A team of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) was allegedly attacked while visiting a government school in a Jaipur village on Friday, with party founder Abhijeet Dipke accusing BJP workers of targeting CJP volunteers
and questioning the Rajasthan Police over the incident.
In posts on X, Dipke alleged that CJP volunteers, including Ashutosh Ranka, were assaulted while visiting a government school in Kanwarpura, Rampura. He also shared pictures that purportedly showed a clash and a damaged car window.
“What the F is happening in Rajasthan????? Goons of BJP are after the blood of Ashutosh and other CJP volunteers. How can Rajasthan Police allow this kind of attack?” Dipke said in a post on X.

‘Rs 12 Lakh Approved For School’
Villagers, however, disputed the CJP’s account and objected to the party’s visit to the school. A villager told the news agency PTI that the community did not want the matter to be politicised and said that Rs 12 lakh had already been sanctioned for the construction of the school.
“We don’t want to politicise the issue. Rs 12 lakh has been approved for our school. Villagers are capable of building the school. We had constructed a temple earlier, and we are capable of building a temple of education as well. We don’t want any support from the Cockroach Janta Party,” the villager said.
The villager also alleged that residents were opposed to the CJP because of its views, claiming that the party had made objectionable remarks about Lord Ram and spoken about dividing the country.
“We are opposed to such a party which calls for dividing the country and says bad words for Lord Ram. We oppose such people. We need people who work for the country,” he added.
The confrontation occurred as the CJP continued its campaign to visit government schools and highlight alleged shortcomings in their infrastructure and facilities.
‘School Operating In Buffalo Shed’
Ranka further claimed that the government school had been functioning from a buffalo shed and said the CJP team had visited the site to inspect the facility.
“We had gone to inspect the school in Rampura-Kanwarpura village. For the past several years, the school has been operating in a buffalo shed. We had gone for an inspection last year as well, and the school was being run in a buffalo shed even then. Before we could reach the site for the inspection, their people, BJP goons, were already there. Our volunteers were assaulted first,” he said.

Ranka also alleged that the group was attacked with stones despite the police being informed. He gave Rajasthan Education Minister Madan Dilawar 48 hours to arrest those responsible and withdraw the order, warning of a statewide agitation if his demands were not met. “Today is a black day in Rajasthan’s democratic history,” Ranka said.
Dipke alleged that the Rajasthan Police remained a “mute spectator” during the alleged attack on CJP volunteers. He also questioned the opposition to the team’s presence at a school, saying the party had found children being taught in a buffalo shed.
CJP worker Shivangi Sharma alleged that the team was attacked and accused of being terrorists and Naxals. “They attacked our workers, saying we are terrorists, Naxals. What is this outsider… insider… this is one country. We have not come from any party or another country. We are talking about children of our own country…” she said.

‘No Use Of Cockroach Inside House’
Reacting to the incident, BJP MLA Gopal Sharma questioned the relevance of the CJP and said, “What is CJP? There is no use of a cockroach inside a house. Children and youth belong in a house…”
BJP MLA Swami Balmukundacharya, meanwhile, said he did not support violence and maintained that everyone has the right to express their views.
“I don’t support any violence. No violence should occur. Everyone has the right to present their views. I also urge the CJP to give their message to the concerned department, officer, or public representative. If you have a complaint, you have the right to express it. But if you enter an educational institution and create a ruckus, it affects the future of students. So, they should have taken permission before doing this,” he said.
Balmukundacharya said grievances could be raised with the concerned authorities and public representatives, while stressing that disruption at an educational institution could affect students.
