Iran has rejected a US ceasefire proposal and submitted its response to Pakistan, which acted as a mediator in the talks, the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) reported on Monday.

Rejecting the proposal,

Tehran stressed that any resolution must lead to a “permanent end to the war” while taking Iran’s interests into account.

The response outlined several conditions, including an end to regional conflicts, a protocol for safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz, reconstruction efforts, and the lifting of international sanctions.
