Vir Das is one of the most loved stand-up comedians and enjoys a massive fan following. It’s quite usual for fans to send messages to their favourite artist, but one girl caught Vir’s attention as she
spammed the comedian, demanding him to wish her boyfriend, who happens to be Vir Das’s biggest fan.
Today, in the most hilarious way possible, Vir Das took to his Instagram and shared a video wishing the boy a happy birthday. Before saying anything, he shared a series of screenshots he received from the girl, and later, while wishing Happy Birthday, he said, “Happy Birthday, man. Again, Happy Birthday. Please tell her to stop.”
Further, while calling out the girl’s name who was spamming him, Vir said, “Ayesha’s boyfriend, happy birthday. Bro, f**king marry this girl. Like, marry her tomorrow. Happy Birthday, I did it. Please stop.”

While posting this video, Vir attached it with a caption that read, “Happy Birthday in advance, bro. Marry this girl ❤️ I don’t do birthday wishes, making a ONE-TIME exception. This girl loves you.”
This post caught the boy’s attention, and he reacted by commenting, “Ayesha’s boy here, thanks for that, Vir!” Replying to this, Vir wrote, “Marry her.”
Priyanka Chopra Jonas also saw this post and, while reacting to it, dropped a laughing emoji in the comments section.
Vir Das, who made history as the first Indian comedian to win the prestigious International Emmy Award in 2024 for his special Landing, recently made a global comeback with Fool Volume, his sixth stand-up special, which is considered his most personal and experimental work to date. The special, which premiered worldwide on Netflix, stirred up excitement for its insightful writing, cultural observations, and sharp humour.
Even Hrithik Roshan took to his Instagram stories to express his admiration, saying he had to reinstall the app just to share that Vir Das’ Fool Volume is the best stand-up show he has ever seen.
“Had to reinstall Instagram ‘cause I had to say this. Vir Das’ Fool Volume has got to be the best stand-up show ever,” wrote the WAR 2 actor.
