Actor Krystle D’Souza and restaurateur Gulaam Gouse Deewani have reportedly ended their relationship after nearly three years together. According to a report, the couple, who were known for keeping their romance
private, parted ways about a month ago. Neither D’Souza nor Deewani has made an official statement regarding the breakup.
Krystle-Gulaam break up
Sources close to the duo told The Times of India that the split happened discreetly. “They have parted ways. Krystle has always maintained a low profile about her personal life and would not want to discuss the break-up, which happened almost a month ago,” the insider said.
In the days following the reported separation, observant fans noticed that Krystle and Gulaam had unfollowed each other on Instagram, further fueling speculation about their breakup. Screenshots showing that the two were no longer in each other’s following lists soon made rounds on social media.
A Private Relationship in the Public Eye
Krystle D’Souza, best known for her television roles in Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai and Belan Wali Bahu, was first linked to Gulaam Gouse Deewani following her rumoured breakup with actor Karan Tacker. Although the pair were frequently spotted together, Krystle never publicly confirmed their relationship.
In a previous interview with Bombay Times, she had hinted at the nature of their bond while refraining from putting a label on it. “Anybody who has two senses, brain cells can figure it out. I don’t think I would like to label any relationship until I have a ring on my finger. And not the one that I bought for myself (laughs),” she had said.
Krystle had earlier spoken warmly about Gulaam’s presence in her life, crediting him for being a strong source of encouragement during her professional journey. “If I have the confidence to go on screen and perform, it’s him behind me. He pushes me to become better… Finding a partner for an actress who is that supportive is very difficult,” she told Bombay Times in an earlier interview.
She had also shared that Gulaam had been there for her during challenging times. “Gulaam has been with me, in my lowest times, he’s picked me up. He’s made me feel like I am somebody today. There are events I don’t even want to attend. He will say, ‘No, you have to go, you have to be seen,’” she said.
