The Conjuring Prequel
According to Puck News, Warner Bros (Producers) are currently planning another prequel to Annabelle and The Nun, which were part of The Conjuring series. However, filmmaker James Wan, who helmed the original two Conjuring films, will not be returning.
As per the report, Wan stayed on as a producer in the franchise, but he is now reportedly in a settlement dispute with Warner Bros. The director wishes to be paid more as a producer on the films, but the studio remains firm. As a result, Wan might soon leave the cinematic universe entirely.
However, an official confirmation from the makers regarding another sequel is still awaited.

Earlier, Deadline reported that HBO Max was working on a drama series based on The Conjuring franchise with Warner Bros. Television. It was described as a continuation of the story introduced in the films.
