Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan visited ace singer Arijit Singh soon after he announced his retirement from playback singing. On Sunday, Aamir Khan reached Kolkata to visit Arijit at his residence in Jiaganj,
West Bengal. While attempting to avoid paparazzi, Aamir was caught on camera smiling and waving.
As per Free Press Journal, Aamir Khan wished to keep his visit to Arijit under wraps; hence, he headed straight to his home by road. However, despite his serious efforts, videos and pictures of his visit quickly went viral on social media. Later, on Monday, February 2, pictures of Aamir were seen flying a kite on the rooftop of Arijit’s house.
To note, the actor was travelling with his crew, and as the news of him travelling to Jiaganj spread online, Arijit’s neighbourhood also got alerted. Now, videos show people gathered on their terraces to catch a glimpse of Aamir Khan flying a kite.

Following a glorious 15 years in the industry,Arijit Singh announced his retirement from playback singing through social media. Arijit made the announcement on January 27, and taking to his Instagram, the singer shared, “Hello, Happy New Year to all. I want to thank you all for giving me so much love all these years as listeners. I am happy to announce that I am not going to be taking any new assignments as a playback vocalist from now on. I am calling it off. It was a wonderful journey.”
“God has been really kind to me. I am a fan of good music and, in the future, will be learning more and doing more on my own as a small little artist. Thanks again for all your support,” he further shared in a tweet on his private account.
In a candid tweet explaining the reasons behind his decision, Arijit revealed that the move was neither impulsive nor driven by a single incident. He wrote, “There isn’t just one reason for this; there are multiple factors, and I have been contemplating this for quite some time. Ultimately, I have mustered the necessary courage.”
