As IndiGo continues to manage the crisis, it announced that the efforts to stabilise operations are now showing results, with the number of cancellations falling noticeably since Friday.
According to the
company, cancellations have dropped to below 850 flights on Saturday, and teams are aiming to reduce this figure further in the coming days.
The airlines mentioned that the staff across departments are focused on streamlining schedules, improving on-time performance, and helping passengers who have faced delays and uncertainty.
The airlines said that it is coordinating closely with airports and other partners to ensure that updates reach travellers in time. Information is being shared across airport terminals, on the IndiGo website, and through direct notifications to customers.
It also asked passengers to check their flight status before heading to the airport.

In the official statement, the airline expressed gratitude to its staff for their hard work during this challenging period.
“We would also take this moment to thank all IndiGo employees and ground staff for their tireless support and commitment to our customers,” the company said. IndiGo added that it “sincerely apologises for the inconvenience caused” and assured passengers that restoring normal operations remains its highest priority.
