The National Testing Agency (NTA) has activated the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate or NEET UG 2026 re-examination fee refund window for candidates who appeared in the original exam on May
3. Eligible candidates can now submit or update their bank account details through the official NTA portal to facilitate the refund process by June 30 on neet.nta.nic.in.
To complete the process, candidates need to log in using their application number and password, verify their identity through OTP authentication, and confirm or update their bank account information. NTA has advised candidates to enter the details carefully, as incorrect information may result in delays in receiving the refund.
Step-by-step Guide To Submit Bank Details for NEET UG 2026 Fee Refund
Candidates can follow these steps to submit their bank account details:
– Visit neet.nta.nic.in and click on the link provided for “Bank Account Details Confirmation /Updation”.
– Login using your Application Number and Password.
– Complete the OTP based authentication on your registered mobile number.
– Click the Bank Account Details button on the screen and choose one of the following options:
Confirm existing bank details: Select the checkbox and click the Confirm Bank Details button, or
Update bank details: Click the link and enter the correct Beneficiary Name, Bank, Account Number, Re-enter Bank Account Number, Bank Name, and IFSC Code.
– While editing upload a scanned copy of a cancelled cheque or the first page of the bank passbook showing the account number and IFSC code if available.
– Submit the form
Meanwhile, NTA has also released the provisional answer key for the NEET UG 2026 re-examination held on June 21, 2026. Candidates can download the provisional answer key from the official website. The answer key challenge window will remain open from June 25 to June 28, 2026 (11:50 PM). Candidates wishing to challenge any answer can do so by paying a non-refundable fee of Rs 200 per question and submitting valid supporting documents.
