An annoyed Jasprit Bumrah warned a fan before losing his patience and taking away his phone. A clip going viral on social media shows a fan shooting a video with Bumrah behind him, with the India fast
bowler warning he may end up dropping his phone.
However, the fan continued to record, leaving Bumrah frustrated, who then proceeded to take the phone away, and the clip ended abruptly.
While some users have slammed Bumrah for his reaction, others have come to his defence, slamming the fan for invading his personal space.
What an arrogant behaviour by Jasprit Bumrah. First he threatened his fan that he would throw his phone, and later he snatched the fan’s phone. pic.twitter.com/O2e4jSLw7s

Bumrah is currently part of India’s five-match T20I series against South Africa at home. He played in the first two matches but missed the third game, reportedly due to personal reasons.
On Wednesday, before the fourth T20I in Lucknow was abandoned due to excessive fog, Bumrah had rejoined the squad and was seen during the warm-up session prior.
BCCI is facing the heat from fans after the contest was called off without a toss, with Congress leader Shashi Tharoor saying the match should have been scheduled in Thiruvananthapuram.
“Cricket fans have been waiting in vain for the #INDVSSAODI to start in Lucknow. But thanks to dense smog, pervasive in most north Indian cities, and an AQI of 411, visibility is too poor to permit a game of cricket. They should’ve scheduled the game in Thiruvananthapuram, where AQI is about 68 right now!” Tharoor wrote on X.
The Ekana Cricket Stadium was enveloped by a thick blanket of fog, reducing the visibility. The officials held six inspections throughout the evening with the players waiting in the dressing room, having abandoned their warm-up session by 7:30 PM itself.
The contest was to get underway from 7 PM IST before being called off at 9:30 PM IST.
