CLAT 2026 Second Merit List: The Consortium of National Law Universities will release the CLAT 2026 second merit list on January 22 on its official website, consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Candidates whose names
appear on the second merit list will be eligible for admission to law programmes at National Law Universities (NLUs).
However, the merit list is provisional. A seat will be confirmed only after candidates pay the required university admission and confirmation fees within the given deadline. If the fees are not paid on time, the allotted seat may be cancelled and offered to another candidate.
After the release of the second merit list, shortlisted candidates must complete all formalities for the second round of CLAT counselling to secure admission.
