a surprising detail about the procedure on Koffee With Karan Season 9. The film producer was reportedly paid to undergo the transplant as part of a brand association.

The topic came up when Karan Johar put Janhvi Kapoor on the spot during the rapid-fire segment of Koffee With Karan Season 9, asking her to come up with a rumour about Boney Kapoor. Janhvi’s answer took an unexpected turn, bringing his hair transplant and a brand deal into the conversation. She said, “That he didn’t get a hair transplant done. And he grew his hair by concentrating.” Arjun, who was also part of the conversation, went on to quip, “But if you roam around, you wouldn’t believe it.” To this, Janhvi said, “Have you seen dad’s banners?” “That’s called marketing,” Arjun replied.
Karan reacted to the same and said, “I forgot to talk about Boney Ji’s makeover.” Janhvi then revealed, “Can I tell you that he has been paid to get a hair transplant?” KJo appeared taken aback and asked whether Boney had actually been paid for the procedure. Janhvi and Arjun Kapoor both confirmed that he had.
The actress further said, “He has not paid to get a hair transplant. He has gotten paid.” Karan then asked, “So he is paid, that’s why he is smashed all over the city?” Janhvi also hinted that audiences could soon see more promotional content featuring Boney. She said, “There are more coming. I have got an approval of five more banners of him looking in the mirror without hair, sad, and with hair, happy.” Varun Dhawan, who was also present, said, “But his hair looks amazing.”
Meanwhile, Janhvi was last seen in Peddi alongside Ram Charan. Next, she is set to star in the action entertainer Lag Jaa Gale directed by Raj Mehta, co-starring Tiger Shroff and Lakshya.
