Jaipur, Apr 22 (PTI) Mercury levels soared across Rajasthan on Wednesday, with several places recording temperatures above 40 degrees Celsius, according to the weather department.
The highest maximum temperature
in the state was recorded at 43.7 degrees Celsius, followed by Pilani in Jhunjhunu at 42.7 degrees.
Chittorgarh recorded 42.6 degrees Celsius, while Churu and Kota registered 42.4 and 42.1 degrees respectively.
The state capital, Jaipur, also witnessed a hot day, with the maximum temperature settling at 40.5 degrees Celsius.
