Planning a trip to Southeast Asia but want to cover more than one country? The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has introduced an eight-day Vietnam and Cambodia holiday package departing
from Chennai.
The “Wonders of Vietnam & Cambodia” tour is scheduled for November and takes travellers across some of the region’s best-known cultural and scenic attractions. Chennai is the second Indian departure point for this itinerary after Bengaluru.
The seven-night, eight-day package is priced from Rs 1,51,250 per person, depending on the type of accommodation. The itinerary combines Vietnam’s beaches, historic neighbourhoods and limestone landscapes with Cambodia’s archaeological treasures.
When is the IRCTC Vietnam-Cambodia tour?
The tour is scheduled from November 17 to November 25, 2026. Travellers will fly out of Chennai International Airport and visit Da Nang, Hoi An, Hanoi, Ha Long Bay and Siem Reap during the trip.
International and domestic flights are part of the itinerary, along with road transfers between destinations.

What does the itinerary cover?
The holiday begins with an overnight flight from Chennai to Da Nang via Singapore. After arriving in Vietnam, travellers will explore several of Da Nang’s popular attractions, including Marble Mountains, My Khe Beach, Dragon Bridge and the Han River waterfront.
The following day takes the group to Ba Na Hills, home to the well-known Golden Bridge and French Village. The itinerary also includes a visit to Hoi An Ancient Town, where travellers can explore its old streets, lantern-lined lanes and riverside setting.
The group then heads to Hanoi. The capital’s itinerary includes landmarks such as the Temple of Literature, Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple and the Old Quarter. One of the highlights of the Vietnam leg is a trip to Ha Long Bay. Travellers will board a cruise and sail past its limestone islands and caves. The itinerary also offers activities such as kayaking or bamboo boating, before the group returns to Hanoi by coach.
After an overnight stay in Hanoi, the tour moves to Cambodia.
From Hanoi to Siem Reap
On the sixth day, travellers will fly from Hanoi to Siem Reap, Cambodia. The final portion of the holiday is dedicated to exploring the destination before the return journey to Chennai.
Siem Reap is best known as the gateway to Angkor Wat, and the itinerary includes visits around the historic temple complex and the city over the next two days.
On November 25, travellers will check out and head to Siem Reap Airport for their flight back to Chennai via Singapore.
