The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has opened registrations for Karnataka NEET PG counselling 2025 round 3 after the qualifying cut-off was reduced to 0 percentile. Eligible candidates can apply
for round 3 on the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in, till January 26.
Candidates who wish to participate in round 3 and already hold a verification slip must submit their documents to KEA between January 29 and 30. Those who had earlier deposited or withdrawn their original documents can also re-submit them if they intend to take part in this round. The authority is yet to announce the schedule for the mop-up round of Karnataka NEET PG counselling 2025.
The move follows the recent decision by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) to lower the NEET PG 2025 cut-off. The qualifying percentile for the general category has been reduced from the 50th to the 7th percentile, while the cut-off for SC, ST and OBC categories has been lowered from the 40th percentile to 0 percentile. NBEMS, however, has clarified that there is no change in NEET PG ranks 2025.
Document Submission And Verification
As per the KEA notice, candidates with physical disabilities who became eligible due to the revised cut-off must appear for a medical examination on January 28 at KEA, Bengaluru, along with relevant certificates and their identity card. Newly registered postgraduate candidates are required to report for document verification on January 27, 28 or 29, between 11 am and 4 pm, to become eligible for option entry and seat allotment.

In round 2 of Karnataka NEET PG counselling 2025, a total of 3,164 candidates were allotted Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Surgery (MS) seats, including 19 candidates under the NRI category. Among the most preferred options were MD General Medicine and Radiodiagnosis at Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute.
Candidates are advised to regularly check the KEA website for updates on counselling schedules and further admission rounds.
