JEE Main 2026 City Intimation Slip: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026 Session 1 from January 21 to January 31. The examination will include Paper
1 for BE/BTech aspirants and Paper 2A and 2B for candidates seeking admission to BArch and BPlanning courses.
The agency is expected to release the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 city intimation slips in the first week of January. Once issued, the download link will be activated on the official website at
jeemain.nta.nic.in. The city intimation slip informs candidates about the city in which their examination centre has been allotted and is released before the admit card.According to the NTA, the admit cards for the January session are likely to be released three to four days before the start of the examination. The result of JEE Main 2026 Session 1 is scheduled to be declared on February 12.
During the application process, candidates were allowed to select up to four preferred exam cities from the states mentioned in their present and permanent addresses.
The NTA has stated that every effort will be made to allot candidates an examination city based on their preferences mentioned in the application form. However, due to administrative or logistical reasons, some candidates may be allotted a different city.

Candidates can follow these steps once the link is activated:
Step 1: Visit the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in
Step 2: Click on the JEE Main 2026 city intimation slip link available on the homepage
Step 3: Enter the required login details such as application number and date of birth
Step 4: Submit the details to view the city intimation slip
Step 5: Download and save a copy for future reference
