Actor Vijay Varma has joined the list of Bollywood celebrities who have praised Mohit Suri directorial Saiyaara, starring newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda. The musical romantic film continues to dominate
the box office even three weeks post its theatrical release. Vijay Varma, who recently watched the film in theatres, has shared his review of Saiyaara, and praised the film calling it a ‘beautiful love story’.
On Friday, Vijay Varma took to his Instagram stories to share a poster of Saiyaara, and wrote, “Late to the party..Saiyaara is such beautiful love story… blown by the conviction of Mohit Suri sir and the two incredible leads Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda. Thank you for the experience @yrf.” He further added that he will watch Shazia Iqbal’s Dhadak 2, starring Triptii Dimri and Siddhant Chaturvedi, next. “Now on to Dhadak 2 soon,” he wrote. Mohit Suri’s Saiyaara is turning out to be one of the year’s biggest blockbusters. The film has maintained its strong foothold at the box office, collecting over Rs. 300 crore in India within three weeks. Even with competition from Ajay Devgn’s Son of Sardaar 2 and Triptii Dimri-Siddhant Chaturvedi’s Dhadak 2, Saiyaara continues to draw audiences. On August 7 (Day 21), the film grossed an estimated Rs. 1.85 crore, as per Sacnilk.
Saiyaara Celeb Reviews
A number of celebrities including Arjun Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Ekta Kapoor praised Saiyaara after watching the film in theatres. Alia shared an Instagram post with the caption: “It’s safe to say…two beautiful, magical STARS are born @aneetpadda_ @ahaanpandayy — I don’t remember the last time I looked at two actors with such awe. With stars in my eyes… watching the stars in yours. You both shine with such individuality, such honesty — I could watch you again, and again, and again. (And let’s be honest… I probably will).” She went on to praise Mohit Suri, and called the film a ‘beautiful creation’.
Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh wrote, “SAIYAARA is HEARTFELT. The very best of Mohit Suri. Congrats to my dear friends at YRF- Akshay, Sumana and Shanoo for an unprecedented feat (high-five emoji. Ahaan and Aneet, you were special. A scintillating debut! God bless you and welcome to the movies!”
