Sony has unveiled two limited-edition DualSense controllers built around Grand Theft Auto VI. Both launch November 19, 2026, the exact same day the game itself hits PlayStation 5.
There are two versions.
One black, one white. Both use a shimmering, colour-shifting finish meant to capture Vice City’s look, sunset tones blending into neon glow. Both also have small palm tree details moulded right into the shell, and Grand Theft Auto VI branding across the touchpad.
Sony is styling the black controller around Vice City’s nightlife, while the white one leans into its daytime look, beaches, pastel skies, a more relaxed feel.
“Vice City’s unmistakable style comes to life in these two new limited-edition DualSense wireless controller designs,” said Isabelle Tomatis, Sony’s Vice President of Global Marketing.
The black controller is a PlayStation Direct exclusive in the US, UK, and most of Europe, meaning you can only get it straight from Sony. The white controller is easier to find, it’ll be sold on PlayStation Direct too, but also through regular retailers.
Pre-orders open September 10 at 10 am local time. Both controllers are priced at $84.99 in the US, €84.99 in Europe, and £74.99 in the UK. Sony has confirmed a Japan price too, ¥12,480 including tax.
Sony is positioning PS5 as the lead platform for GTA 6, leaning on features like DualSense’s haptic feedback and adaptive triggers as part of how the game will actually feel to play.
Worth knowing if you’re planning ahead: GTA 6 launches on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, with no PC version confirmed yet, and a 30fps cap on consoles. Given how fast pre-orders for the game itself have already been moving, described by analytics firm Newzoo as the strongest opening pre-order week it has ever tracked, these controllers are likely to sell out quickly too.
