Pooja Hegde took a short break due to health reasons. After taking a much-needed rest, the actress shared a comforting update with her fans on social media. Taking to Instagram, she revealed that she is
now on the road to recovery, crediting a good ‘rest’ for her improved condition on sick days.
In the post, Pooja shared a picture of herself enjoying a cosy evening on her balcony with her pet French bulldog. The actress, wrapped in a blanket, looked relaxed and on the mend as she sat on a comfortable round chair and cuddled her furry companion for extra comfort.
Captioning the post, Pooja Hegde wrote, “Sick days. Some rest and recovery was all that was needed.”

Penned by Chandhru Anbazhagan and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Coolie is an Indian Tamil-language action thriller that centres around a gold smuggler, Deva (Rajinikanth).

Looking forward, Pooja Hegde has a busy year ahead with an amazing lineup of projects. She will soon be seen in the highly anticipated Bollywood film Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai. Made under the direction of legendary comedy film director David Dhawan, the film features her alongside Mrunal Thakur and Varun Dhawan. The rom-com also features an ensemble cast, including Maniesh Paul, Kubbra Sait, Chunky Pandey, Rajeev Khandelwal, Mouni Roy, Jimmy Shergill and Rohit Saraf. Backed by Tips Films Pvt. Ltd., the film is expected to release in theatres on October 2.
She also has the political action thriller Jana Nayagan in her pipeline. Directed by H. Vinoth, the film will feature Thalapathy Vijay, Bobby Deol, Mamitha Baiju, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Narain and Priyamani.
