Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez has stressed the importance of prioritising mental health in a “stressful” world. She highlighted that amid constant stress and pressure, taking care of one’s mental wellbeing
is more essential than ever.
Speaking at an event in Bhopal, the 39-year-old actress, known for her role in Kick, urged people to incorporate short bursts of mindfulness and meditation into their busy schedules. These can range from five to 30 minutes of mental wellbeing practices to help maintain the health of both body and mind.
“Today’s world is very stressful. Meditation and mindfulness are very important in such situations,” Jacqueline said, as reported by IANS.
Jacqueline also briefly shared her personal wellness philosophy, emphasising the strong connection between spiritual and physical wellbeing. “Both my body and soul are fit and strong. I am very spiritual,” she said, highlighting the balance she aspires to preserve.
Alongside her mental well-being awareness campaign, the Bollywood actress recently experienced a “fangirl moment” at the Cannes Film Festival, where she met personalities such as Mohammed Al Turki, Juliette Binoche and Jessica Alba.
Jacqueline documented the highlight on Instagram after being overwhelmed by the opportunity to meet some of her idols. “This was a dream, meeting all my idols and being part of such a meaningful event,” she wrote, thanking Red Sea Film for making it possible for her to attend as an honouree.

Creating a workplace that recognises employees’ work habits instead of just their output is emerging as the next frontier of effective leadership amid today’s constant hustle. Shruti Swaroop, co-founder of the International Inclusion Alliance and founder of Embrace Consulting, emphasises that small, deliberate changes to daily routines are the first step in this transformation.
Jacqueline’s message serves as a timely reminder that carving out moments for introspection and inner peace is not a luxury but a necessity. Her focus on mindfulness offers simple and accessible ways for anyone to support and nurture their mental health in an age of relentless busyness.
