Janhvi Kapoor has reacted to Khushi Kapoor and Vedang Raina’s breakup during her recent appearance on Koffee With Karan 9. During the rapid-fire segment, Karan Johar asked Janhvi what advice she would
give to Vedang. The actress mentioned that Vedang should stop overthinking. She also hinted that there would be no reconciliation between Vedang and Khushi.
When Karan asked Jahnvi what dating advice she would give to Vedang, she replied, “Maybe stop overthinking.” Varun, alluding to Vedang’s recent film, said, “Main vaapas aaunga.” Janhvi said, “Nahi, it’s okay. Nahi aana hai. Stop overthinking.” Karan also asked Janhvi what dating advice she’d give to Khushi. Janhvi said, “I don’t think she needs advice right now; she’s good.”
The news of Khushi and Vedang’s breakup went viral in January this year. Journalist Vickey Lalwani took to his Instagram handle and claimed that the two young actors have parted ways after dating each other for over two years. “It’s over,” a source close to the couple told the journalist and added, “Khushi and Vedang are not a couple anymore, but the reason for the breakup is not known. It’s something that has happened only very recently.”
Vedang Raina and Khushi Kapoor first sparked romance rumours after the release of Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies in 2023. Reportedly, their friendship deepened on set and led to frequent outings, further fueling speculation. Despite the buzz, neither Vedang nor Khushi publicly confirmed they were dating. Vedang maintained in early interviews that they were “just good friends” with a strong bond, and said his dating life was currently taking a back seat owing to work priorities.
Despite the denial, Vedang’s presence at Khushi’s intimate parties and family vacations never let the buzz die down. However, in April 2025, Khushi appeared to soft-launch the relationship on Instagram by wearing a pendant featuring their initials, which many took as a subtle confirmation of their romantic relationship.
