Bollywood Hungama confirmed that when they reached out to the actress and sent a congratulatory message for her wedding with beau Vijay Deverakonda, the Thama actress accepted the sweet gesture and replied with a “Thank you” along with a smiley emoji, ending all speculation and confirming that they are indeed tying the knot on February 26, 2026.
As per the portal, when they tried to dig deeper for more details, they found that no one from the Telugu or Hindi film industry has been invited to the wedding, as it is meant to be a very small, private ceremony. The couple plans to host grand receptions in Hyderabad and Mumbai for their friends.
It was further confirmed that both actors have taken a short break from work, and with Rashmika’s packed schedule, she will have to get back to work soon after her big day.
Earlier, Variety India reported that Vijay and Rashmika have a professional commitment to fulfil before their big day. The two will shoot for an advertisement together.
Privacy Is the Priority
A report by Siasat.com claims that Vijay and Rashmika are making sure no photos or videos of their wedding are leaked. Recently, it was reported that the couple has opted for a no-phone policy at their wedding. Prior to this, another report by Tollywood news portal Tupaki claimed that a leading OTT platform approached the couple with a lucrative offer to acquire exclusive rights to their wedding video. The deal reportedly involved a substantial amount, making it one of the biggest wedding-related offers in recent times. However, Vijay and Rashmika are believed to have declined the proposal. Reportedly, Vijay is particularly keen on keeping the ceremony private and does not wish to commercialise it. The actor reportedly wants the wedding to remain an intimate affair.
