Dubai streets went into full-on Bollywood mode this week, not because Amitabh Bachchan flew in, but because a man who could easily pass as Big B’s twin decided to take a stroll. A viral video shows the
lookalike surrounded by a sea of fans, cameras flashing, phones out, and people literally rushing to snap selfies. Social media, of course, had a field day, joking that Big B had started a new chapter as “Big B from Alibaba.”
The clip originally appeared on an Instagram account before making its way to the Lovin Dubai Instagram page, where it has racked up over 114,000 views. The post carried the caption: “Dubai’s huge Amitabh Bachchan fans came out to spot his lookalike.”
In the video, the Amitabh Bachchan lookalike strolls casually down the street while a bustling crowd surrounds him, snapping photos and trying to grab selfies, clearly convinced they’ve spotted the real Bollywood superstar.

The video quickly went viral, drawing a mix of awe, laughter, and playful jabs online. One Instagram user joked, “Big B from Alibaba,” while another quipped, “Only the Noon driver got a selfie.” Yet another added, “When you order Amitabh Bachchan from Alibaba and he shows up in person.”
Amitabh Bachchan is currently seen hosting his popular quiz reality show, Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 17. He has been a part of the show ever since its inception in 2000. As for the films, he will be next seen in a courtroom drama, Section 84, along with Abhishek Banerjee and Nimrat Kaur.
The film is produced by Reliance Entertainment, Film Hangar and Saraswati Entertainment in association with Jio Studios. This project will be the third collaboration between Bachchan and Dasgupta, following the critically acclaimed 2014 Sony Entertainment Television miniseries Yudh and the 2016 film Te3n. Bachchan’s last courtroom drama was Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury’s Pink (2016).
