A Bengaluru-based tech professional’s birthday post has caught many people’s attention online, not because of cake or celebrations, but because of what he chose to share instead. On his 22nd birthday,
the young engineer posted a detailed list of his academic and professional milestones, surprising many with just how much he has achieved in a single year.
Instead of a short thank-you note, the post read like a summary of years of hard work. From top internships to major research wins, the achievements quickly drew praise, curiosity, and a fair bit of disbelief from social media users.
A Birthday Post That Stood Out
The techie shared the post on LinkedIn, beginning with a breakdown of how his past year unfolded. He wrote, “Turned 22 today and here is a quick look at the past year,” before listing one milestone after another. According to him, the year began with a machine learning internship at Apple, where he worked closely with a strong team and gained clarity about his technical interests.
After that, he joined Microsoft Research, where he focused on work related to agentic memory. One of the biggest highlights of his post was securing a six-figure research grant from Meta. The grant, known as the LLaMA Impact Grant, will support his work on building advanced AI models at CognitiveLab.
Research Work And Growing Recognition
The post went on to mention his academic contributions. He said he published five research papers, with his work being accepted at major global conferences such as AAAI, NAACL, CVPR, ICCV, and NeurIPS workshops. He also spoke about launching a project called Vibemotion, a tool focused on motion graphics, which crossed 200,000 views and received early positive feedback from users.
He further shared that he released a state-of-the-art AI model from India that can compete with global models, something he said had been on his wish list for a long time. Alongside this, he revealed that he had won three major hackathons.
The techie ended his post on a hopeful note, writing, “Feels like things are just getting started, excited for what’s about to come next!!”
